6. Mixed Planting

This mixed planting comprises Grevillea robusta, Eucalyptus saligna and Acacia melanoxylon. 

G. robusta was among the first species established in the arboretum (in 1993). Now, some high pruning is needed, including removal of undesirable acute-angled branches.  Photo opp. shows Tim using a climbing harness to reach branches that need removing (January, 2016).
